Painting

I approach painting as a space for experimentation and continuous learning. My hands and mind are restless, and I avoid repeating myself and monotonous routines. In spite of that, there is a common thread or bits and pieces that unite my work.

I approach painting as a space for experimentation and continuous learning. MY haNDS AND MIND aRE restless, AND I AVOID repeating myself AND monotonous routines in SPITE OF THAT, THERE IS A COMMON THREAD OR BITS AND PIECES THAT UNITE MY WORK.

Abstraction

It is one of the most free form ways of painting I practice. From my artistic perspective, it is an inside-out approach. I mix personal experiences with tics, repetitions, automatisms, simple pen strokes, and words that emanate from my brain or hand.

Figurative art

These works fall into the figurative art category, where I work primarily with themes, references, places, and photographs.

In general, many of the works and paintings that I am commissioned to do fit into this category.

This is an opportunity for me to work on observation and analysis from the inside out, while generating a special communicative feedback with a very specific recipient.

Mixed media technique

There are small objects and fragments of things that have a strong suggestive and evocative power and that lead me to the creation of new artistic compositions. Re-interpret, decontextualize, start anew with a stroke, color, strings that become something else, forms created by themselves to give support to a volatile idea...

ABSTRACCIÓN

Tics, repeticiones, automatismos, grafismos sencillos y palabras que se han fijado en mi cerebro o en mi mano se entremezclan con experiencias propias. Un concepto de dentro hacia fuera.
